Overview:

We are looking for a Lead Piping/Mechanical Engineer to join our Edmonton office team. The individual will be part of our industrial team supporting our oil, gas, mining and manufacturing clients. The role will be office based with occasional trips to site. We are looking for a positive, outgoing individual who wants to be part of a growing team for the long term. Management experience is not as important as people skills, work ethic and the ability to think outside the box!

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • 10+ years in an EPC or consulting engineering environment.
  • Registered as a P.Eng. in Alberta or another Provincial Engineering Association.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Lead a project team of engineers and designers.
  • Developing and reviewing department standards.
  • Developing Construction Work Packages (CWPs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Develop piping and mechanical related deliverables.
  • Knowledge of ASME B16.5 and B31.3 is a must.
  • Knowledge of Ceaser II software.
  • Knowledge of ASME VIII Div. 1 and 2 is considered an asset.
  • Scoping study and Design Basis Memorandum (DBM) development.
